Trip to the Beach

This is a few weeks late, but here are some pictures of our trip to Florida. We enjoyed wonderful food, Jason surfed for the first time in 15 years and the beach was great. We hope to go back once the baby is 5 or 6 months old.

Sunday Class

This summer my friend Erin and I taught a Sunday morning bible class at HHCC. We had between 4 and 10 children in class each week. We taught the young twos and had a blast. I am glad to see the summer over and go to a class and sit down, but I will really miss the sweet little children.

Big Day

Well we are back from Florida and I will post pictures soon, but I had to tell you all the exciting news. Last night Jason felt the baby kick!!! She kicked a few times in the afternoon and then many times last night. He put his face on my tummy and she kicked him. It was so sweet. I have felt her move for weeks, but he finally got to feel it. What a wonderful day.
She has gotten big. Check out the tummy.

20 weeks and 5 days!

We are happy to announce the other reason we have not been posting this summer. We are 20weeks and 5 days pregnant. We wanted to wait a few months to announce it, but we are so excited we had to tell everyone.

Yes, it is a bit of a surprise, but hey we like the fast lane. We were best friends for 9 months, dated for 4 months, engaged for 4 months and then married for 4 months when we found out we were having a baby.

The baby is due December 15th...our 1 year anniversary. How funny is that. We found out what it is, but we will not be telling for about a week.

Until then enjoy the pictures. The doctor says the baby looks great and very healthy.

Already sucking my thumb.

July

June was a blur, and July even crazier! Here is a look at the past month.

July 7th -
We traveled to Rockford, IL to some of our dearest friends' wedding. We decided to drive there and wow! IL has SO MUCH CORN!!! I was shocked. We decided to make it a little get away weekend. We were able to swim at the hotel, I love to swim. We stopped and made a visit to Lincoln's tomb It was very interesting. It was a hot day, but I am glad we went. Then we drove over to St. Louis to meet some friends for lunch. It was nice to visit with friends and take a break from driving. Tracy it was good to see you. Over all, it was a long trip, but we had a great time.

Shaun and Danielle- the happy couple!

July 13th-15th
Adam my brother offered to help paint our living room as a wedding gift.He has been in graduate school since then, but came to Tennessee for as internship this summer, so I jumped on the chance to paint. Dad, Mom and Adam came down, brought scaffolding and we painted all weekend. Thank you all so very much. I couldn't have done it with out you. The room looks great. Love you all so much.

July 19

Jason and I went to the
Schermerhorn to see Diana Krall. I had not seen her before, but it was great. We had box seat and she did an outstanding job. It was a wonderful night out.

June in revew

June 9th-
Was my 29th Birthday, and if you know Jason, he is not the best with surprises. Last year I got my b-day gift 3 weeks early. Well this year he did a wonderful job. We spent a few weeks discussing gifts and ideas and he surprised my with my first Coach purse. He did a very good job and really shocked me. We had dinner and a few other things. He really made it a special day. Thank you honey.

June 15th-
Was our 6 month anniversary. We made plans to go to dinner, but it was another surprise. I love surprises and special days. I think I am training him well. We love going to downtown franklin and he took me to The Red Pony for dinner. I haven't been eating much, but this was perfect. We had a wonderful time. He was so thoughtful and is beginning to spoil me.

June 29th-
Was my last day at work. I was the office manager at a chiropractic office in Brentwood, TN. I really liked my job and was not looking to change careers, but God brought some wonderful but shocking changes, so Jason and I decided I would quit and begin working in a new direction. It was sad to leave and I miss having a regular work week, but it has been a good few weeks.

We also got a pool.
Ha Ha! Jason thought I was crazy when I brought this home, but we have really enjoyed sitting in it on a hot Saturday or Sunday afternoon. It works until I get the real thing.

June was a great month.
