New additions

Well as Jason says, since I moved everything in the house is breaking. Well...when you move into a house that is 10 years old and the appliances were put in when the house was bought, what do you expect. We bout a dryer soon after we got married and then in the fall we got ...
our lovely new dishwasher. I was a little to preoccupied with the baby's arrival to post so here is your picture. Now flash forward 6 months and the fridge is going out. Well two weeks ago it finally decided it had had enough and quit. So here is our third new appliance in a little over a year.
Isn't she beautiful!!! I know she does not match the rest of the appliances, but we are planning to move in the next year or two and I want black and stainless my next kitchen, so we went on and bought the one I wanted. I really like it. Thank you honey, sorry "I" am breaking everything.

4 months

McKenleigh is 4 months old today. Wow. I was talking to our neighbor tonight and he said"it was like yesterday you told me you were pregnant." I know what he means, I feel the same way. Today was a big day. It was special time with daddy day. This morning Jason got up and said, today is your day. I am going to take McKenleigh with me. He has had her for an hour or so at different times, but not a whole morning or day and to leave to house. So when she got up from her nap at 10, they headed out. He took her to the mall, and to the grocery store to pick up a special dinner for me. Then came home and played, he fed her and put her down. Way to go daddy. I went shopping by myself. That was wonderful. I was alone from 10- 2. It was great. I missed them both, but it was great that they had time together.
Last week she had her first fever and a little cold, and began the joys of teething. She goes next week for her 4 month check up so i will know her stats then. I am thinking around 12 1/2 lbs. and 25 or 26 inches. We will see if i am any good. She is rolling ALL over the place and scooting. If she sees a toy a few feet away she will go get it. She still loves to be on her tummy and will throw a fit if i lay her on her back.
Her new trick is to roll over on her changing table. It is great fun trying to put a diaper on a girl who has half her body facing one way and the over half twisted the other. She is such a joy and i am loving watching her put thoughts together and play. What a wonderful blessing.

16 weeks

Today our little girl is 16 weeks old. She is now rolling over all the time, sucking her thumb and giggles. She is a happy baby that loves her bath time and knows her routine. At night, she is ready for a bath and then wants in bed. She just got her tickle reflex this yesterday and it is great. She started petting the dog and enjoying watching her God made me video. Sunday I left her in the nursery for the first time. She needed to go to sleep and so I took her downstairs and she slept through the first service. It was nice. Our little girl will be 4 months old next weekend. Wow.
Here is a video from Monday night. Jason is talking to McKenleigh about my birthday and how he gives gifts weeks before the date. She was talking and talking to him, so I ran in to catch some of it on video.

3 month pictures

Katie took our 3 month pictures Saturday and here are a few. McKenleigh usually smiles all day, but she was not feeling well, so we couldn't squeeze a smile out of her. She didn't cry, but not one smile. Katie did and awesome job. All images belong to Katie Mosley Photography.
