16 months

Our baby girl is 16 months old!
There are some things I want to remember and share with our family so here goes.

Her first sentences are:
Hi puppy. Bye puppy. Hi Daddy, Bye Mommy.

-Every morning when I go into her room, she jumps up with a big smile and says...MOMMMY!
It is wonderful.

-loves to play outside and is always asking... "yide" (outside)
- eats EVERYTHING with a fork(including cheerios) and does very well.
-signs and says:please, more, all done.
-says thank you (at the correct time)
-loves music and like to dance

one little story:
we have seen lots of BIG bumble bees around the neighborhood and McKenleigh loves to watch them. The other day, she even sat down to watch one. She points and says "eee".
While at the park on Tuesday, she saw an "eee" and was following it around. (No fear of Bees yet) It flew away and she looked up at me and said "d o" (Don't know, as in where did it go, I don't know) and then saw a helicopter off in the distance and started running toward it saying "eee" "eee"! Oh I could just eat her up.

Let's Rock!

McKenleigh found the rocks in the back yard on Easter Sunday and had a wonderful time throwing rocks all over the place. She did well keeping the rocks in the "rock pit" and clapped every time she threw them. It was so cute!

Weekend at Grandma and Pop Pop's

We all went up to my parents for a nice weekend and a trip to the park. We played games and ate very well. McKenleigh had not been to the park in a few weeks, so we took her up the road to a local elementary school to play on the playground. She had so much fun and took a nice nap afterward. We took a nice walk and Pop Pop and McKenleigh enjoyed a swing in the front yard. It was a wonderful weekend.
