Da Da and Whistle

Here is a video of our messy faced doodle bug. She is sleepy, so a little fussy, but it is her bed time. She is so funny, when I say Momma she says da da almost every time. She is trying to look around the camera to see me, then at the end, we are showing off out talent of whistling. Jason and I both whistle quite a bit, and she has picked it up. Most of the time if you whistle at her she will whistle back. Enjoy.

Tongue

She found her tongue. She walks around sticking her tongue out and it is so cute...for now, hopefully she will grown out when she is older.

Baby Book

Here is a post for our family that lives far away. This is some of the pages from McKenleigh's baby book we worked on over the weekend. I have more pages to do, and I need to write on the pages, but here is a glimpse.

Welcome Home

It started when I was in college. Mom would have a welcome home gift on our bed when we came home for a visit. It was anything from a chocolate bar, a roll of quarters (for laundry) to a book kitchen gadget. It was such a nice treat, and special knowing she was glad we were home. She even had goodies for our friends when they came. When I got married she had welcome home gifts for Jason and now that we have McKenleigh we all get a gift. However you have to come home to get the gift, you don't get one brought back if you do go. This trip I got AU scrapbook stickers and McKenleigh got a book about our trip to the beach. It is great and she loves it. Thanks mom, what a great gift and lots of your time. We love you.

Grandma and Grandpa's

Sunday morning after church McKenleigh and I went to Kentucky to visit my parents. Well, the real reason was to work on her baby album, but it was nice to visit as well. My mom has all the fun paper and gadgets for scrap booking, so I was able mooch off her. She didn't mind though because that meant time with McKenleigh. Grandma and Grandpa had so much fun, and can't wait for us to come back again soon.
