School!

McKenleigh starts preschool in a few days and they had a sneek-a-peek today. McKenleigh was able to go and meet her teachers, see her classroom and meet her classmates. She walked in and made herself at home. I know she is going to love it.

She is the youngest in her class, but I know she will do well.

Her friend Izzy from church is in her class. (maybe she can teach McKenleigh how to grow hair)

Dress up is fun!

Can't believe she will be in school next week!

Visit with Da

Jason's dad came to visit last weekend, and McKenleigh had a wonderful time. I am pretty sure Da had a great time as well.
Here they are having a tea party with all her Elmos. Da bought one the last time he was here and then two more during this visit.

They did a little sliding ...

a little swinging...

playing in the sandbox...

climbing and looking...

a little more swinging (gotta have that thumb)

playing peek-a-boo

riding the ladybugs

cuddling

and reading books

It was a full and busy weekend, but we are so glad he came. Lots of great memories.

Daddy

McKenleigh loves spending time with daddy. This was her first time to wash the car, and she LOVED it. Now she wants to wash the car all the time.

She is getting so big!

She also loves snuggle time watching Blues Clues or Dora.

Wrapping up July

After the beach, M went to Me Maw and Pop Pop's house and Jason and I went to camp with our youth group. I didn't take many pictures, but here is one.

We had a great week, but we were so ready to get back to this sweet girl!!

Look-a-me!

McKenleigh spent the week at my parents house (Me Maw and Pop Pop's) while Jason and I went to camp with our church youth group. We had a wonderful week, but missed doodle bug and we were so happy to see her in Saturday. She had a wonderful week, but I am not sure who had more fun, McKenleigh or my parents. We are so blessed to have grandparents that live close and are willing to keep her so we can work with our teens.
She changed so much during the week and it was so fun to see. She stared using a new phrase "Look-a- me" in a high sweet voice. She conquered climbing the stairs and sliding all by her self and was quite fast. She continues to be a blessing everyday.
